Regret

I was at a red light. Someone rear ended me. I got out, walked to her car, she was terrified. I looked at both cars.. no major damage. I knew that it would be classified as “her fault”. Literally, she was trembling. I don’t know if it was because she thought I was angry or that I’d call the cops. I just said to her “I don’t see any damage, do you want to do anything about it?” She shook her head saying no, so I told her to have a good day and went about my day.

I regret it though. She was beautiful and I wish I’d have asked her to dinner. I don’t regret letting her off the hook for some minor fender bender but I regret at least getting her number.
