I was in high school. She was in a different one. She was beautiful as hell. We were together briefly. She was offering sex, but when we were going to get together she said “I’m on my period”. I told her “we can do it another time”. I really liked her. What I should have said was “that’s fine, we can just hang out.” But I was a teenage dumbass. A week later she broke up with me. Looking back now that makes sense but back then I was more of an idiot than I am now. I’m still an idiot but I was a bigger one back then.
