Christmas Lights

I could have gotten fired for this. When I worked for Cox in Vegas as a lineman, I drove a bucket truck. Whether you were a service tech or a lineman you always took your truck home.

One day I was coming home. A little after Christmas. My neighbor was on a ladder trying to take down his Christmas lights. It would have taken hours to get it done. But I pulled up.

Said, if you get your ladder out of the way I can take care of it in 5 minutes. He moved the latter, and I used my bucket and some pliers and had them all taken down in 3 minutes. I was just being a good neighbor and didn’t expect anything from him but the next day there was a 12 pack of beer sitting next to my door.
