People have a misconception. It’s not good to recycle everything.
Paper/lumber companies plant more trees than they take down. It’s good business practice. Gotta refill your stock and anticipate for growth in demand. Simple business shit. Recycling paper products does more harm than good. We’re not running out of trees. But the recycling process releases gasses and chemicals that damage our o-zone.
Glass is made from sand. All our oceans are filled with sand and the waves, currents, and tides are making more sand every day. And again, recycling glass damages our o-zone.
The only two things you should recycle are metals… because the earth on,y has so much and we can’t make more, and plastic because most of it isn’t biodegradable and it’s trashing our oceans.
