Most people don’t know the difference between clinical depression, situational depression, and “the blues”.
That causes people to judge suicidal people or people who have tried.
Clinical depression… your life could be perfect and you can smile and laugh all day cause you’ve learned how to pretend even when you’re sad as hell and you’re breaking inside. No one will be able to tell. That’s me.
Situation depression is when something bad happens, like a loved one dying or something. Makes you sad as shit. But it’s something that can be worked through.
”the blues” is basically “I had a bad day at work”
Don’t try to understand or comprehend clinical depression. Unless you have it there’s no way to comprehend. Clinical depression is why I’ve attempted suicide twice. Almost succeeded twice.
Most people judge me for it but they can’t comprehend the darkness I feel all day every day.
That’s all.
