When I was a lineman

I had to go through someone’s backyard to get to a pole to fix an area issue. I knocked on their door. They answered and I asked permission to go through their backyard so I could get to the pole, they said no.

There is a thing called right of passage. Utility companies are allowed to go through any public or private land if they need to. But we tend to ask permission first as a courtesy.

So I told her “this was just a courtesy. I’m going back there anyways.”

I had to fix the issue for all her neighbors.

Lol I thought about leaving notes on her neighbors doors letting them know she tried to keep me from fixing their cable lol. But I ain’t petty like that.
